Medical Image Creator

This is used for converting video files obtained from CT scanners to still images. This can be stored in a database and can be retrieved using the software provided along with the device by connecting the device to the computer using a serial port. The Microchip controller used is 16F73. This technology can be used for converting any analog input into a digital image for storage. The software has provisions for editing the image

Bank Token Display and Announcer

This instrument has two units, a base unit consisting of keyboard and a small 4 digit display and a display unit with large display and speaker. A flat ribbon cable connects both units. The user can enter any 4 digit number on the keyboard and the number displays on the small display in front of him. If the number is correct he can press ‘enter’ and the number is transferred to the large display and the voice announces ‘Attention please, token number XXXX’. The newer version of this has a wireless transmitter for transferring the message to the display unit without using wires.

Advanced Security System

This has various sensors for sensing human entry, fire etc… and has provision for password protection. It can be programmed to dial up up to 6 phone numbers and give a pre-recorded message.

Prepaid Energy Meter

This is an energy measuring system. This uses a card for keeping track of energy consumption. It is based on Gold Card ( PIC 16F84) based chip card. The unit uses four Micro control programs, viz., 1) Program for the main Micro controller inside the energy meter.2) Program for the main Micro controller inside the chip card 3) Program for the Micro controller inside the recharging unit. 4) Program for the special chip card for changing meter setting. For maximum security authentication of chip card is done between the external and internal microcontrollers.

Induction cooker

Flame less cooking stove using HF electromagnetic field. Very high efficiency. Consumes 1/5th Electricity compared to electric heater. Temperature & timer settings with digital displays & feather touch keys.

Electronic Ballast for 70W Metal Halide Lamp

Compact, light weight and cheaper compared to conventional magnetic ballast. Working voltage 110 V. Constant brightness from 60V to 135 V. EMI/RFI suppression as per FCC. Active power factor correction resulting a PF of 0.99.Varoius ballasts have been developed for different wattages.

Over head water tank level controller

Wire less link between sensors (2 Nos.) & base units. Automatic detection and action in the following conditions :- Over head tank reserved, Over head tank full, under ground tank empty, motor not working, high / low voltage etc. Sensor units consume power in active mode only.

Dam Water level transmitted + monitor

The water level is measured using the same method used in project 7 above. After that the data is transmitted to the base station near the dam. A receiver installed at the base station will display the present water level and will print it in a pre-defined interval. Any number of receiver units can be installed and all of them will display / print the data. This is the first phase of this project. The task in the second phase is to bring the data in various base stations to a central station. The linking between base stations and central station is intended to be through telephone / modem link.

Online UPS Sine wave / trapezoidal wave / quasi-square wave UPS. High frequency MOSFET based PWM switching with ferrite core. Over load / short circuit / battery low protections. Highly regulated (+/- 1%) output from mains / battery. Cold start facility from battery. SMPS type 4 Amp constant current battery charger with full charge limit. Very low BOM (less than 1500/- without battery)

Square wave offline UPS. Very low BOM. Complete unit production cost below 900/- including battery and cabinet
